The intention behind this work is to shed light on the following questions:
Is there such a thing as a photographic original?
What are the effects of a transformation from one medium into another? Are they equivalent?
Are new/similar images created?
Should a photograph rather be regarded as an image generated by the brain as the result of a stimulatory impulse?
Can subjective observation and encoding create an image?
Can this encoding be regenerated in the materiality of a photo?
